It was the last day of summer in 2011. The weather could not have been more beautiful and it was decided that a drive in the country was the best way to bid another gorgeous Northwest summer goodbye.
The sun shone all day long and I simply could not get enough.
Look close, you can see a freight train on the Washington side barreling through the tunnel!
The Vista House has been a place for travelers to rest, refresh, and take in the view since 1918.
Couples cuddle here all the time!
