Vintage Inspired Fashion at the Grammy's 2013

From the glamorous to the ridiculous to the practical, this is a taste of Grammy Fashion 2013.

One of my favorite looks came from Janelle Monae in her perfectly tailored Moschino suit. I have no idea how, but she managed to pull this Matador look off without looking too costumey.
Staying with androgynous looks, Rocsi Diaz' jumpsuit harkened back to the days when women first started wearing pant. Such a lovely cut!
These boxy shoulders and color-blocking on Beyonce's Osman Yousefzada jumpsuit are pure 1940's glamour. I LOVE the nipped waist and fitted leg, very 50's!

Taylor Swift has yet again successfully pulled off a thirties-esque Grecian gown, this time by J Mendel.
Ashanti made many critics worst-dressed list. I feel this gown should receive an honorable mention for it's homage paid to late 30's, early 40's formal wear.
I like what you were trying to do here Kimbra, but... this misses the mark. Added points for bravery and looking like Polly Harvey. Negative points for not actually being Polly Harvey.
This Valentino dress on an expecting Adele was also on many critics worst dressed list. Those critics are crazy. Adele once again harkens back to the smooth 60's with this one.

Did someone say smooth? Justin Timberlake can do no wrong. Especially when he is sporting this smashing Tom Ford suit, yowza!
YOWZA!!! Mario Lopez, baby. Wow, you're rocking this 60's look like no other!

 Sting and Trudy, always classy.
Sting and Bruno Mars performed A lovely medley of Locked Out of Heaven, Walking on the Moon, and Could You Be Loved. Could I be loved? By you two? Yes, we can make that happen.
Also present, Ziggy and Damien Marley, and Rihanna.

There was much discussion about Katy Perry's attire as usual. I love this custom Gucci dress, boob-fest and all.
Classy Carrie Underwood is stunning in this Cavalli lace and sequins mermaid gown.

Rihanna's red carped dress was revealing and feminine. Crimson red in color along with a perfectly draped chiffon train. A winner indeed.
Out of all the sexy outfits from Grammy night 2013, Kelly Rowland's risque Georges Chakra burnout symmetrical, diagonal, 30's inspired masterpiece is at the top of my list. Go girl.
The absolute best dressed in my opinion were Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney of The Black Keys for dressing like normal friggin people. Refreshing... Extra added bonus points for reviving Dr John, even if temporarily.
