The first of May was stunningly beautiful in the Portland Metropolitan
area. A perfect day for taking a short field trip across the mighty
Columbia river to the Pearson Air Field to watch vintage planes arriving and departing.
There are many vintage war planes on display at the Pearson Air Museum. They also have USO dances here, big band and all!
